As a market researcher, every so often a project passes your way that you know you absolutely have to be part of. This happened to me at Latitude Insights when beyondblue commissioned a research project to understand the link between discrimination and depression amongst the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex community.
The research topic lent itself to an Insights Community methodology. Due to its highly personal and sensitive nature, an online qualitative approach meant that participants were in a safe, anonymous, environment to open up and share their stories.
Below is a summary of the key themes that emerged from that research.
